Where most companies would outsource for cheaper labor or use low-quality, cheap foreign parts for their production, Ed Brown doesn't. Ed Brown takes pride in their state-of-the-art warehouse employing American workers to produce hand assembled 1911 pistols using precise machinery such as a 5 axis machining centers, Swiss type turning machines, precision broaching, fine polishing equipment, fiber lasers, and coordinate measuring machines.
