Shipping, Returns, & Cancellations
Shipping is calculated at check out. If there are extra shipping charges you will be notified.
All Firearms MUST be shipped to a licensed FFL.
Long Guns (rifles, shotguns) are shipped UPS Ground, and cost typically ranges between $29 - $45.
Handguns by law are shipped 2nd-day-air, and the cost typically ranges between $39-$59
Ammunition price varies by weight ** UPS Ground - Adult Signature Required **
Other items are typically shipped via UPS Ground, unless the item is a size that fits a flat-rate USPS box, or unless a specific carrier is requested at checkout.
Anacortes Gun Shop is not responsible for publishing errors in product information, such as description, price, or availability that originate from affilliate warehouses and vendors. Any orders for products in which the pricing or availability has been published in error by the supplying warehouse will be cancelled.
Should the need arise; we will do our best to cancel an order at no charge provided that it is cancelled by 5:00 pm Pacific Time on the day of order. We work quickly to process orders, so please contact us immediately if you need to cancel an order. If an order cancellation request occurs after 5:00 pm on the date the order was placed, it is agreed that the customer will pay a minimum 5% cancellation fee. This is to help offset costs already incurred by AnacortesGunShop.com. Special orders requiring prepaid deposits are subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
Cancelled orders for Firearms that are sourced from offsite warehouses, as indicated by the designation ‘Ships from Warehouse’ on the product’s description page are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, and must be cancelled prior to the firearm being shipped to the customer’s FFL.
Returns & Exchanges:
All customer returns or exchanges must occur within fifteen (15) days of receipt of merchandise. All returns must be pre-authorized by an Anacortes Gun Shop team member who will provide a Return Authorization Number (RMA#) if approved. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges related to the transaction. Also, we DO NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items.
A full or partial merchandise refund will be determined by Anacortes Gun Shop upon inspection of the returned product. A minimum 5.0% fee will be deducted from the refund to cover processing costs. An additional restocking fee will be deducted from the refund if, upon inspection, it is determined that the returned product has been used and/or damaged by the customer, or is missing any parts, manuals, warranty cards, etc. Customer is also responsible for return shipping charges. Unfortunately, we cannot refund original shipping and handling charges unless an error occurred on our part in shipping your order. If a prepaid return label is provided, it will be deducted from the refund (in addition to the restocking fee). All returns must be received within 15 days from the date of purchase or they will be refused. Please do not return any order prior to receiving a return authorization. Returns that have not received prior authorization will be refused. Ammunition cannot be returned due to safety reasons (no exceptions).
A refund check will be issued to the customer within fifteen (15) days of receipt of returned merchandise with an accompanying RMA number, or refunded back to the credit card used for the original purchase.
All returns of non-defective general merchandise are subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee. Special Order Items may not be returned unless they were damaged in shipment, are defective, or are incorrect due to an error on the part of Anacortes Gun Shop.
NO REFUNDS ON ANY FIREARM. NO RETURNS ON ANY FIREARM. FIREARMS MAY NOT BE SHIPPED OUT OF THE USA.
VERY IMPORTANT – NO FIREARM RETURNS!! Please take your time to inspect all firearms thoroughly BEFORE proceeding with the transfer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you it is considered used, even if unfired. Consequently, we cannot provide a refund for new firearms once they have been transferred into your possession. We do understand that some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection. However, upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer, the firearm MUST be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty policy). By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees of returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer. Shipping fees may apply. Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees. However, if the manufacturer chooses to replace the firearm, the replacement firearm must transfer through your local FFL dealer to document the replacement firearm serial number.NFA Note: We are unable to process cancellations, returns or refunds for silencers or any NFA items once we have started the Form 3 or Form 4 ATF paperwork
Non-Returnable items include:
- Items that are damaged or abused
- Items that are missing accessories
- Stabilized binoculars
- Digital content (e.g., Electronic Software Downloads)
- Opened computer software
A NOTE REGARDING INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:

No international shipments of Firearms and some related accessories.
Credit cards and bank checks will no longer be accepted for international shipments (outside the United States and British Columbia) for first time buyers. Wire transfers only for product and shipping. Once a history has been established with our company then credit cards may be used. Our wire transfer fee is $30.00. Import taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Direct Wire Transfer, Money Orders & Checks.
Anacortes Gun Shop collects appropriate sales tax on all orders shipped to customers within the State of Washington. Sales taxes on orders shipped outside of Washington State are the responsibility of the buyer.
